Gold Quintet — Five Gold Trading Strategies in One EA

Gold Quintet is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 designed for gold trading. Choose from five strategy profiles on one chart, with automated pending-order entries, stop loss, take profit and trailing-stop management.

Each profile has a simple True / False switch. Scalper, Swinger and Positive RR are enabled by default; Custom and Prop Scalper are optional.

Five selectable strategy profiles

• Scalper: Its own entry, exit and trailing settings. Enabled by default.
• Swinger: Wider stop-loss and take-profit distances. Enabled by default.
• Positive RR: A configured take-profit distance greater than its stop-loss distance. Enabled by default.
• Custom: Your chosen stop loss, take profit, trailing settings, entry offset and trading pause. Disabled by default.
• Prop Scalper: An initial protection period before normal exit and trailing settings apply. Disabled by default.

Strategy names describe the profiles; they do not guarantee profitability or compliance with a proprietary trading firm’s rules.

Hedging and netting account compatibility

Hedging accounts: All enabled strategies can operate simultaneously, each with a separate magic number, trade management, cooldown and signal tracking.

Netting accounts: Only the first enabled strategy runs. With the default settings, this is Scalper. To choose another strategy, disable the profiles above it.

Built-in profiles use their own signal timeframes. Custom uses the chart timeframe. Account-mode behavior is the same in the Strategy Tester and live trading.

• Fixed-lot or percentage-risk position sizing.
• Spread filtering and optional pending-order deletion during high spreads.
• Configurable daily profit, daily loss and equity-protection controls.
• Daily trading-session and Friday closing controls.
• Dashboard with strategy information, positions, pending orders and EA profit/loss.
• Permanent Show Panel / Hide Panel button without pausing trading.
• Optional pending-order cancellation when the EA is removed.

Main settings

• Strategy switches: Enable or disable each profile individually.
• Money management: Choose fixed lots or percentage-risk sizing. The default fixed lot size is 0.01.
• Maximum spread: Set an entry threshold; zero disables the filter.
• Custom settings: Configure stop loss, take profit, trailing activation and distance, pause duration and entry offset. Distances use broker points.
• Protection and session settings: Configure daily thresholds, equity protection and scheduled closing controls.
• Base magic number: Reserve five magic numbers for strategy identification.
• Panel and logo: Adjust visibility, position, colours and size.

Risk applies per strategy trade, not to the combined portfolio. Enabling more strategies can increase total exposure. Account-based protection calculations may reflect activity outside this EA. Disabling a strategy also stops management of its existing trades.

Before trading live

Test your chosen settings with your broker’s gold symbol and trading conditions. Review account type, lot sizing, spread and trading hours. Arrange management of open positions and pending orders before disabling a strategy or changing its magic number.
